“Cubic Radiance” is a unique lamp design that combines simplicity, functionality and a pinch of artistic inspiration. Shaped like a 3x3 Rubik's Cube, this 3D printed lamp with a sleek black upper part and clean white lower rows presents itself as a visually appealing addition, intended for work spaces at the Kassel Art Academy. What makes “Cubic Radiance” special is its user-friendly design. The lower part can be rotated manually to effortlessly adjust the light temperature. Behind this simplicity lies an Arduino chip that is connected to a dynamic LED matrix. The lamp, compact with dimensions of 20 cm x 20 cm and a LED matrix of 16 cm x 16 cm, is designed to fit seamlessly into the workspace. "Cubic Radiance" draws inspiration from Posenenske's grid designs, creating a subtle connection between art and everyday life. It creates a new way of interacting with light in a design that is both accessible and functional
